Astral Sex – You won’t find it in a Manual

Just when you think you’ve gotten all the basics down about sex, along comes someone talking about astral sex.

Huh?

Yes, there are people who not only practice astral projection on a regular basis, but they claim to experience astral sex as well. Astral sex should not be confused with tantric sex; they can both be about the spiritual but that’s about as far as their similarities go. With tantric sex you are working toward physical sexual intimacy with more spirituality–but it’s still physical. Astral sex is all with the mind; the body has nothing to do with it. Don’t worry, though; you have to actually astral project in order to have that kind of sex, so nobody is going to snicker behind your back if you admit you’ve never experienced it.

What exactly is astral sex, then? You could ask several people who’ve claimed to experience it and you would be likely to get several different answers. One of the reasons for this is because the actual experience of astral projection can be a very personal one for each person. Though there can be many basic similarities in the experiences, each person usually takes away something different. This being said, however, there are usually some basic similarities in the astral sex experience as well, though the partnerships can differ greatly.

Very few people ever claim to have astral sex by consciously deciding to. Though it’s probably safe to say that it has happened, chances are you won’t run across two people who said that they deliberately projected at the same time and then their minds met for a sexual encounter. Most reports of astral sex are of random and unexpected experiences. In addition to this, these experiences are so different than the physical act of sex that people have a hard time explaining just exactly what it was they experienced. Oddly enough, though, they all are very certain that it was sexual.

Some people report having unplanned astral sex with another person who is projecting, other people report coupling with spirits from another astral plane. Many people claim that they don’t actually feel their sexual organs during astral sex but rather that their entire being becomes a sexual organ. They don’t have sex; they and their partners are sex. Every part of one person’s being melds with every part of another person’s, or spirit’s, being.

Though the experience is often described as exciting and even beautiful, this isn’t always the case. Some people come away from the experience feeling troubled and even violated. When you set out purposely to astral project and end up having a sexual experience, it can be more than a little unsettling. This is especially true when you have no idea with whom you’ve had the encounter!

The good news is that astral sex can be, and usually is, a wonderful experience. When you are on a quest to experience astral projection or if you already have done it, stay open to the fact that a sexual experience may happen. Understand that you are a sensual, sexual being, and this can carry over into your projections. Enjoy who you are—every part of who you are.
